After the devastating flooding of the Lockyer Valley in January 2011, many people have kindly offred to donates quilts for the Residents of Grantham and the Lockyer Valley.
Some of the first quilts to arrive were tops from a group of Quilters in Townsville co-ordinated by Ann Hayes. As we unwrapped the parcel of quilts in Sew Creative Gatton we wondered if we would have to return them, due to Cyclone Yasi.
They were quickly quilted by Lyn Crump of Busy Quilting and here are some of the quilted tops.
